Nude Women With Freckles
Freckles add a sexy charm to women. From natural or painted-on freckles, they add an extra bit of intrigue and pair perfectly with summer glow from tanning beds. In recent decades, freckles have gone from being seen as unpleasant marks on our faces to being signs of carefree living.
No one knows exactly why the shift occurred, but likely a combination of factors was at work. Perhaps the popularity of tanning had an influence; as early as the 1950s, tanning lines correlated with health and leisure and sun-kissed complexions often include freckles which made people appear younger.
No matter the reason, it’s heartening to see that freckles are making a comeback. While celebrity-wearing celebrities usually cover them up with makeup to cover them up), everyday girls are increasingly accepting and celebrating their freckles.
Beauty industry trends are also gradually adapting. Chanel was the pioneer to market a freckle pencil when they released Le Crayon Rousseur in 1995; Sephora followed suit soon thereafter with their My Lovelii Freckles Pencil in 2003 and even used one at their Matthew Williamson runway show that year! Since then, numerous tutorials have shown how to achieve the speckled effect using anything from eyebrow pencils to self-tanners applied with small brushes.
